Dr. Ethan Isaac Bregman is a clinical psychologist specializing in sport psychology. He works with adolescents and adults of all competitive/participation levels. Dr. Bregman is a graduate of the APA (American Psychological Association) accredited Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. He is a professional member of the APA, Div 47 and the AASP (Association for Applied Sport Psychology). Dr. Bregman is also an approved provider for the Safe4Athletes program. Dr. Bregman specializes in a wide range of clinical techniques addressing factors that impact athletic performance such as injury recovery, anger management, stress reduction, anxiety, as well as interpersonal and adjustment issues. He recognizes the challenges that athletes encounter regardless of their age or level of participation. He utilizes his clinical expertise and athletic experience to help restore overall well-being, balance and enjoyment, not only in sports, but life.
Dr. Bregman is a life long competitive and recreational athlete. He has won awards in bodybuilding and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has also participated competitively and/or recreationally in soccer, rugby, softball, tennis, snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing and most recently mixed martial arts. He is a certified referee for Pankration, MMA and Muay Thai and is the editor of the published book, Mixed Martial Arts Strikers Guide for Trainers and Fighters by Joseph Paulo Florez de la Guevara, 2010.
Dr. Bregman has written articles for Health and Fitness Magazine. He has trained athletes, is a certified massage therapist, and currently assists in teaches and coaches boxing, kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He completed the year long OLTS (Outdoor Leadership Training Seminars) course based in Denver Colorado and participated in the C.O.M.M.A.N.D school for mixed martial arts referees in Valencia CA.
